Who handles refunds
Boardmate subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes every payment and every refund. This policy describes the refunds we support; Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy also apply to your purchase.
Try first, then buy
Every organization gets a 30-day free trial with everything included and no card, so you can check that Boardmate fits before you pay. Because of the trial, payments are generally not refundable, except as described below or where the law requires it. When a license ends, the organization returns to the free features; no settings or data are deleted.
Renewals and cancellation
- Subscriptions renew automatically each year. You can cancel at any time with Manage billing under Organization settings → Boardmate → Plan & billing, or through paddle.net.
- A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The AI features keep working until then, and you are not charged again.
- Renewal payments are not refundable, except where the law requires it (for example the renewal rules for annual subscriptions in the United Kingdom) or as described below.
Other cases we always refund
- You were charged twice for the same subscription, or charged after a cancellation had taken effect.
- Boardmate could not be delivered to you because of a fault on our side that we could not fix within a reasonable time.
- We discontinue Boardmate: the unused part of a prepaid subscription is refunded.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law. Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the United Kingdom have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of a purchase, as set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Business customers have no right of withdrawal.
How to request a refund
- Go to paddle.net, look up your order with the email address used at checkout and choose to request a refund, or use the link in your Paddle receipt.
- Or email support@hardyson.se with your Azure DevOps organization name and the order or invoice number from the receipt. We will arrange the refund with Paddle.
Refunds are made by Paddle to the original payment method. How long it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
VAT and sales tax
If you are a business registered for VAT or sales tax and were charged tax that should not have applied, contact Paddle within 60 days of the transaction with your tax registration number to request a tax refund.
